I don't like the blue one, but the green and black is pretty nice. I have been mulling it around after this season. Not urgent, just mulling.

In regards to the green & black one in Sacramento, just wanted to give you guys a small heads up. I just purchased my '07 24Ve from them 6 weeks ago (Capitol Water Sports), and it went very smoothly. They even delivered it to me in SoCal for $450.00, and the deal went down without a hitch. Even got me financing through Bank of the West.

I will say this though; When delivered, the boat had a few small issues. The carpet was stained in more than a few areas, and the rear walk-through removable cushion was stained badly as well. Now, Steve was awesome, and is somehow getting the carpet replaced via Tige, and drop shipped to me in SoCal, where they are also paying to have my local Tige dealer install it (I had to insist that I wasn't paying for install). I also shipped them the cushion, and they are re-covering it at no cost to me. Other than that, the only issue I had was after talking to Marine Power, and being advised to change the oil immediately since the boat had been supposedly sitting for 2 years+, discovering that one of the oil line fittings had a 3/8" crack in it, and had I not had someone look at it and change the oil, would have resulted in a blown engine.

Again, Steve and Capitol Water Sports have been awesome, and the few problems I had are being addressed currently at no cost to me. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone considering purchasing a Tige from them (they had a ton of them, and at amazing prices). Make sure they are prepared to handle and issues that could arise after delivery, if you're not able to view the boat in person prior to purchase.

Almost wish I had spent the extra 6k to get the RZ4....oh well.

Y, I hear you. I also bought my 07 24Ve from them, but back in the hey day. I am def aware of their situation. I have been using local guys for service and repair from the beginning.

CWS is closing shop for sure. Employee's are being let go in 60 days from what I hear. Not the most ideal situation but a situation that the owner does not want to coninue losing money in anymore. Wish that was different but the economy and the lack of water in NorCal hasn't helped the industry out up here.

Yesterday was the first time I had a mobile mechanic come out and service the RZ2 for it's 75 hour servicing. I can say that I liked that idea so much more than taking the boat into the dealer.

I did my 300 hour service mobile also. But only cuz my local guy, I think he has been in business for 15 years in same location, couldn't keep his doors open and lost his shop. Its crazy how bad it is right now, like a perfect storm. RV and boating is horrible. The only good part, is our lake is so undercrowded for this time of year.

2 of my friends have been businesses in with RVs. One is about to lose his house, the other is my landlord. He gave me an amazing deal to buy the building. I started wake9, and need a bit more room, and my bays have smaller doors. The guy next to me, has less room, but has 14ft doors. He is in car repair, and cars all over. He is a good guy and neighbor, and was fine when I just used my side as a warehouse. But now doing more business in it. So I told my landlord, who is in RV/mobile home repair that I maybe looking for another place when lease is up in October. He is 72, and I literally thought he was going to pass out. So he has worked out for us to buy the building, he will help the other guy move out before next season. He basically said, if it wasn't for this, he would be in a home somewhere or something, how bad business is for him.

Its just nuts man, I have been on my knees regularly in thankfulness for that fact that I have steady work.

Hell, I would have bought a boat in march if I didn't have to sell mine. The deals are amazing right now on left over inventory or repos.

I remember heading up your way during Memorial Day weekend. We went through some towns and had a TON of empty stores/shops. I even made a comment to my wife about the number of buildings that were just empty. I think your, ragboy, area definitely has gotten hit harder.

ragoby, how close was that last fire. seemed like it was about 10-20 miles away. you guys just can't get away from fires up there.

Supposed to take mine in next week for service. I'm in the same "boat". Bought a boat in 2000....treated like gold. Sold the boat and bought a resale in 2006 because I couldn't afford what the dealer was asking. Saved a bundle...but we'll see what happens. I'm staying positive because the dealer here is really great. I'll post my experience next week and let you all know how it went. Cool to see how so many other owners are experiencing the same issues across the country. Later!!!!!

The fire was yards less than a mile from my parents house on other site of town. They could clearly see the flames. It was contained.

Looks similar to the one the guy had for sale in November that was in Florida. Anyone remember that one? Was a 2008 with a similar color scheme. Looked like it had sat out uncovered in a hurricane, but he was willing to let it go for less than 40K.

                    Is this the same one:

                      Not the same boat.

Different trailer, different tower, also looks like it does not have the same ballast ports.
