Labeling Switches

I am in the process of running some wires to the extra switches on my dash. Does anyone know the best way to take the +1, +2 out and label them for additional lighting?

It may be easier to just replace the cover (actuator) with a couple of Carlings pre-labeled switch covers that have the symbol on them already that best matches you needs. www.mouser.com may have them.

What is the best way to make sure the 3 switches that say +1,+2, and +3 are extra's? They do have wires running to them but they dont seem to operate anything.
