My wife and I live three miles from a boat ramp on a slough off of the Columbia river. It runs about six miles south of the ramp and I tried to boat up it with our 22V three years ago but pu$$ed out because of the shallow depth. Today we were up at our favorite lake thirty miles away and it got blown out right around the time we showed up at 8 am. We booked out of there around noon and decided to try the slough. The low tide had just started and the depth was averaging five feet but it dropped down to 3.5 in one area. We had to run in the middle but looky what we found.
The water stayed glass until we left at 5 pm.
