Had the lake (almost) to ourselves

This spring/summer has been one of the worst ones I can remember. We have only had the boat out 4-5 times, and when it was out we didn't always have the best water.

Well, I took the afternoon off today to take the boat out. We pulled up at 1:00 and there wasn't anyone else on the lake. We had the lake to ourselves for 20-30 min, then a 2nd boat showed up, then a third. But by the time we pulled the boat off the water, the 2nd guy had already left, and we were sharing the lake with one other boat.

I had perfect glass to ski on, and skied a little too hard. The weather was great too.

I wish I had some pictures, but we left the camera in the car.

Awesome! Finally you caught a break this summer!!!!!!

We went to Boyd after work and had 5 new people on the boat and some storm clouds moved in and they got nervous so we had to pull the boat even though it really never did anything. We still had fun and I taught one new person how to surf!

I am wondering if our summer has finally started. We are supposed to be in the 90's for the next week or so.

I also understand about those storm clouds. With all of this hail we've gotten, it was probably a good idea.

We have five lakes in town and four of them are connected, one of my friends lives on the lakes that is by itself and we skied that monday, wow there was not another boat on the lake and there was not a ripple on it, by far the best possible conditions anyone could ask for. We skied straight across the lake and the only wave was from us turning around, it was perfect.

I know the feeling... oh wait, nevermind. We are the only boat on our lake @ 6:00am!!
