We put one up last year at the dealership, it was a 16x30 I think, with a 12' high door and 1 ped. door. The crew that put it up drove in stakes to anchor it. That one was $4500 delivered and setup.

I got me one of those swanky metal car ports to park the boat under. This way I can keep it uncovered and let it dry out, never have to put her away covered and wet, and best of all it will keep all of the tree crap out of the boat. It will stay cleaner and that makes me happy!!!!!!!! Check it out. Good call Money!
Looks great. Not hard to deduce when you picks showed the where

How will you anchor it down so those big storms don't have their way with it?

About $1600.00 installed. I got it through State Line Builders who sells them for Carolina Carports. It is anchored in with mobile home anchors, they're an auger style anchor that is about 24" long, and the frame is bolted to an eye at the top of the anchor. I would love to have a full out garage but this suites the need and the wallet right now. It is kind of goofy because it is so tall, but I'll get used to that the height every time I pull out a boat that is dry and smells good. Heck I can even tinker around and do maintenance on it when it's raining.

Here is a link to their website, they have places all over the US, The home headquarters is located in Dobson, NC. Manufacturing and sales divisions are located in Texas, Georgia, Missouri, Mississippi, Pennsylvania and California.

That is totally cool. That is exactly what I want to do for mine. How much did that cost you. And where did you get it. Was it custom made or a store bought thing. What you could do now is get some of that sun shade material that you and roll up or pull back to the sides and put it in front and in back and even down the sides to keep the sun of the boat.

I am not home so if you remind me when I get home tomorrow I will take a picture of the correct sending unit and post it for you to see. I am going to look on the net for one right now though

See post # 18 for first questions.

The shade tarps; you must be reading my mind. I already have a line on those from a place called Memphis Net & Twine. Gonna get one for the front and the back to roll down during times of wind driven rain, T/Storms and such.

I need a shade tarp across the back of my slip. Late afternoon sun beats on the transom. A season to three of that and the colors will fade. I know, that's what I get for black and green gel.

Does Memphis Net & Twine have some special material?

Sorry for the delayed response. 21' long 10' 10" wide, to go another foot in length was another $300 +, so it's 1 foot shorter that the boat, that is what the tarps or shade tarps are for.

Yeah it's pretty nice, you hear the word tarp and you think about those blue ones, this is like a woven canvas. Here is a link for what I got, they are very nice and look more like thick screens not tarps. I got the WNSC60 for the rear of the port and the WNSC90 for the front.

And now let there be LIGHT

Another needed addition to the new boat home. It has been so nice to keep the boat uncovered to dry. The money is well worth the reduced stress.

                                Hey Scoot,
I did the same thing, but in the back of your first picture I build a wooden structure to hold all my water toys and seat cushions. Just back the boat in and made a ladder, everything drys out nicely. When I bought my boat it always stayed wet, that is why I bought a shelter. I will try and get a pic this wkend. Looks very nice!
