07 rack

Well it turns out that I broke my factory rack when the rope got hung up on it. I was pulling up a newbie for the first time and he ended up yanking on the rope while it was caught on an empty rack.

I calle Tige and it turns out that their manufacturer no longer makes this part and in the meantime they are looking for another supplier so who knows how long that will be.

Does anyone know if it possible to somehow refill and retap the screw holes? Or better yet, anyone have an extra rack that they could sell me?

You should be able to have that mig/tig welded and re-drilled and re-tapped by either a machine shop or possibly even automotive related. Do you know anyone that does that sort of stuff? If not, hit up all of your facebook friends and I'm sure somewhere down the line someone knows someone that can't get ya hooked up!

I do have a set I am not using. If it were me though I would by a Krypt Wake/Surf combo and get rid of the Tige one all together The fingers will mount in the existing Tige oval plate.

Matt, you could have that TIG welded in and re do it no problem. However like always the TO members have other options for you. But I would not throw that one out. I would fix it and keep it as a spare.
