Forward compartment drains

I took some water over the bow doubling back to pick up my rider (had a couple 200lb pasengers fwd). My forward compartments held the water for quite awhile then drained back into the storage spaces under the windshield.
I thought I remembered seeing on here where someone installed drains from the bow seats into the bilge?
I did a search on drains but couldn't find anything.
