Need some info on 2005 24V

    Hey folks,

I have posted a few times regarding potential boat purchases, well we are looking seriously at a 2005 24V. I know there are a few people on here that have the same boat so I was hoping that I could get some information. My questions are primarily based around storage of the boat.

What I really need to know is the length of the boat on the trailer with the swim step on and the trailer tounge in the extended position. So basically, the overall lenght of boat and trailer. I would also like to know what the lengh is with the tralier tounge folded.

The other piece of data that I need to know is the overall height of the boat on the trailer with the tower up. This boat has a factory Tige tower which has the Tige emblem in the uprights. I understand that it might be slightly different depending on what trailer, but a good ballpark figure should be fine for now.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!!!!!!

Not exactly what you asked for, but.... I have a 2005 24V with no swing away tongue and a 25' tape measure. I get.....
    OAL - 29'6"
11'1" tall (As best I can tell) from the top of the anchor light.

This sounds about right. 11' give or take a few inches depending on trailer.

        Thanks guys.

Wow, 29'6" is pretty darn long. Did not think it was that long!

This site is great. Thanks again.

24' for the boat and that does not include the swim platform, as many I/O's do, then add the couple ft for the trailer tongue.

X2 on this. Mine is 12' 2" to the anchor light. I don't have a swing tongue either.

I have a 12 foot door on my garage and it fit just fine with the tower up, in fact I was about 10 inches below that. Including the forks on the board racks, which are actually the highest point on that tower.

Am I the only 24V that did not have an anchor light on top? Mine had to be stuck into a little doohickey near the ski pylon.

We are talking about this tower right?

I am like you. We had the Metcraft tower while others had the factory tige tower. Our towers were most likely the 04 metcrafts before lights were put on the tower.

I really do. 300 hours with her makes a guy attached.

There is good and bad about my current boat as well, but any small detail I did not like about my 24V is fading fast, so it seems like maybe it was better in hindsight.
