    Monday Morning

Decided it was more important to go ride Monday morning that go into work. Worked out well. Got into work at 11AM, which isn't that bad.

Here are the pics. BTW - I am totally sold on the Company board. I never thought there would be anything better than my LF Witness, but I have found it.

How would you describe the company board...what makes it more better?

Sweet pics. Huge air on that double up.
    Be excellent to one another.

I've ridden all the flex boards and the Company board is the only one that feels most similar to a standard foam core board but has the advantages of a flex board. With the Company board I didn't have to change my healside cut in any way. With the LF Press, everything was different. They way it edged and released off the wake were completely foreign. The Slingshots were better, but still took a few sets to adapt.

        Advantages
-more pop but still having a continuous rocker. Anyone who knows me knows I cannot ride a 3 stage worth a $@*^!.

-being able to land tail heavy and have the forgiveness of flex. I have bad ankles and a tail heavy landing would jam my ankle pretty bad plus it would cause you to pop the handle. I have also noticed that the flex rides better in choppy water.

-swing weight is far less than a foam core board. It lets you size up 3 to 5 cm without even noticing it. Plus you can spin faster. I landed a BS 3 four times a row the first time I rode the Company board. Never could land it on my Witness prior.

        Disadvantages
-toe-side edge. Having a hard time figuring this one out.

-sharper edge. I haven't taken an edge yet, but it doesn't look like it will be as nice as my Witness board.

-boot liner/foot bed. You connect the boots to the board inside the boots by removing the liner. This makes the liner feel a little sloppy in the boot.

I will see if i can get a few of these boards for the Mead reunion for people to demo.

Those Company boards are made by Slingshot.

The Randy Harris & Nicola Butler boards will be made by Integrity. Randall has been prototyping boards at Paradise Lake in Bakersfield.

He goes so large that he broke his hand a few weeks ago from slamming it on the water.
