Last nite one of my bow speakers and one of my tower speakers was not working. This morning only one bow speaker is working...for the whole boat! He says it's probably the JBL amp has condensation on it and that's what's causing it. How do I keep that from happening? Advice anyone?

Big fan pointing on it all day. No luck so far. The stereo guys that installed it have ordered me another one. Are the WetSound amps less susceptible to condensation/moisture?Comment

You can conformal coat the boards in the amps and make they much for durable from a condensation prospective. I have some automotive amps that have been in salt water boats for ~10 yrs now and still pounding. (now they will die because I said that of course, but you get the idea)Comment

You have to take amp a partand remove the CCA. (Circuit card assemblies). Not that difficult, based on your mechanical aptitude. Once you get the board out you have to mask connectors and anything you don't want covered with dielectric and just spray it like paint.
