Metcraft status?

Can anyone comment on the status of Metcraft Ent? WW says they are in bankruptcy, but I can't find details anywhere else.

If this is verified how will this effect the alpha tower?

FYI, now Titan is making Malibu's new fugly illusion tower... no longer a metcraft option.

Malibu owns Titan.

Malibu gave Metcraft $100k so they could stay afloat over the winter. Then Metcraft signed on with Tige and Malibu dropped them.

IMO, this has nothing to do with Metcraft doing a tower for Tige. Any company that only does business with 1 customer is bound to fail, not smart to put all your eggs in one basket so to speak. The Alpha Z tower took way longer then a phew months to go from idea to production, heck, it's been out for almost a year, and you know they had a few done well before the release in order to test and photo-shoot.

Same with Bu's new tower. I'll bet Metcraft knew that they where up to something long before Tige came along. The dipchits on WW think the world revolves around Bu and think that metcraft committed treason by doing business with another company. Think about it..........would an Attorney only be on retainer for one doctor, hell no, he's gonna have as many clients as he can. Does GE only sell their appliances to one home improvement store, duh, no! I have 5 heating and air companies as customers, do you think any of them care that I also do business with their competition, no! If Bu expected Metcraft to do towers for them exclusively, then they needed to buy Metcraft and run them as a subsidiary

I know for a fact Metcraft has a contract w/ BU to continue producing Illusions and Illusion X's until the end of the year. And Metcraft was in the middle of casting a large order of Illusion/Illusion X's as we speak.

They could just be restructuring to get rid of debt.

That's happening a lot these days. With no access to capital, companies don't have many other choices to lower their interest payments.

Metcraft made towers for Malibu, Tige, Centurion, and maybe more. Obviously Malibu is the biggest of those three, so they will be generating the biggest source of income.

Now here's what I think. I think maybe Malibu saw this as an oppurtunity to sabatoge their competition. Malibu knew that Metcraft was struggling already and if they dropped them they might eventually go under. No problem for Malibu they already have Titan.

I know for a fact, because I have seen it, that Malibu's tower for 2010 (Illusion G3) is built by Titan.

I think Tige should buy the cast and rights to the Alpha Z from Metcraft while they are insolvent.
