I got pulled over again this weekend for a safety inspect while we were surfing by the game warden and trinity river authority. They told me that Eagle Mountain Lake has a ban on surfing. I have to be fifteen feet behind the swim platform or I can be fined. Anybody else ever had this problem?

Was this in Texas? If so, they're blowing smoke up your @$$.
As far as I know, only teak surfing is not allowed. BTW, here's the bulletin I could find on the subject:

I have found that here in Texas, the game wardens and river authorities tend to make up the rules as they patrol. (They have qoutas you know) I got a ticket for no PFD on a child while sitting still with motor off. Turns out the law is "while under way" I'm in court now fighting this SOB.
They call these "Laws" I call them "Taxes"Biggest lake addict on the planet

Add: One more thing. They can get you for reckless operation, so I'd be careful about fighting things because they do have some vague powers as far as making that determination.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."
