    Engine Drain

My boat is a 2002 22i with 350 MPI. When I park this boat in my shop watter drains from the water intake. I was suprised at the amount of water. Is it safe to pull the blue drain plugs each time I leave the lake?

That's just water that's left in the hose that runs from the intake to the impeller. If you look at the size of the hose, it can be quite a bit. Just let it drain outside first...that's what I do if I can.

Are you talking about the plugs on the engine? You can pull them each time but IMO, you are risking stripping the threads. I only pull the engine plugs once a year for winterizing and they get put back on when I summerize it.

IMO, no need to drain block after each use.
