    Glendo WY

Had some plans fall through for the 4th and now I'm looking at going to Glendo. Is anyone going to be up there this weekend or have any advice for me. Also I'm looking for a descent place to camp.

I was supposed to be there the 7th --> 11th, but our friends bailed on us, and it looks like I have to work part of next week. (I am very bummed).

We stayed at a motel last year, so I can't help much with the camping spots, but I heard Sandy Beach was a good place to hang out, and possible camp. Timmy should be able to help more with where to camp at.

Just talked to Jeb a few minutes ago - Sandy Beach is the best bet. Let me know where you end up and I will let you know if we decide to go north or not!

Timmy - If you go, when will you be up there? Our friends canceled on us yesterday, and my daughter is at camp. My wife didn't want to go with just my son and the two of us. We canceled the motel reservations last night, but I might be able to get them again, and who knows, we could end up doing a mini-tige reunion??

We are going to Grayrocks on Friday morning now. My wife's friend's have a new Epic so I am going to leave our boat at home and try and hit the monster wake.

We're not going to make it. The plans were for the 7th - 11th, and they fell through. Our neighbors just headed up there, and I tried to talk to the wife into it, with no luck. Hopfully next year, if we don't make plans to go to powell.

Sounds like it wasn't meant to be! The first year we had our RZ2 the power steering pump blew up on my truck while backing it up to the boat while packing for Glendo and we fought like heck all night to put a new one in and then the next day is when we almost sunk it...should've just stayed home!

We took the boat out yesterday, due to the cancelled trip to Glendo. My wife wanted to meet some friends with a boat at Crapfield. I tried to talk her out of it, but wasn't successful. Well, I think she sees why I don't like Cheery Creek and Chatfield.

I am now working next week, but might try to take 1/2 a day off and hit a lake.
