    Unbelievable

Well, last week my wife ran over a rope and it wrapped itself around my prop shaft 20 or so times (see below)

    http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...highlight=urgh

Then, on Saturday, we were trying to get my 7 year old up on skis, and by the time he felt comfortable for us to move the boat we drifted over a buoy for the slalom course, and she started the boat, put it in gear and clipped the buoy, then the rope/strap and a little chain got wrapped around the prop shaft. We had to be towed in for the 2nd time this month, and have only had the boat on the water 4 times.

This time, I ended up with a little ding in the prop, but water tested it afterwords, and it seemed to run OK with no vibrations.

How are your slalom bouys hooked up?

We have ours set up so the bouy releases if its run over.

Well, lets hope they don't come in threes j/k

Just don't yell at the wife. She thought that I was yelling when I goofed and didn't get up at the start of the season last year. I was laughing my arse off because I felt so much like a noob. However, she thought I was pissed off at her and she didn't pull me all last year. We had our friend driving. Wasn't fun and now that our friend moved away, she has to drive now and I have to be especially careful that I am not laughing and I don't yell at her nor can I tell her what she did wrong in a direct manor.. I have to beat around the bush.

Your wife only gave you one 'pull' all year... and then you have to beat around the bush...
If its not fun, Why do it?

zad - they appeared to be attached to a rubber tube, that tied to a strap, that attached to a chain, that had a large foam thing at the bottom. The buoy popped right off, its the rest that wrapped around the prop shaft.

da.bell - I've already thought of that, and brought it up on the way home on Saturday. We were supposed to go to Glendo next week (it's now been canceled). I'm hoping that was the 3rd piece of bad luck. :-)
