    Tower nav light

Sooo..yesterday I managed to crush the nav light on the tower while towing. A low lying branch got it while getting to a friend's ramp. Anyway, I searched for new ones and found that Perko has one. Anybody replaced one of these? Are they universal? i.e. would the Perko work?

    Thanks,

    Todd

You should see if you can get a white LED version (if they make one). That would be cool!

That would be cool. I noticed that the larger ones for sailboat mast head lights have them, but I haven't found any for smaller boats.
By the way Timmy, what set up do you use for surfing? I have the factory ballast installed if that helps with ideas.

My dealer stocks them, ~$15 for the oem one that screws right onto where the old one was, I crushed mine going under a bridge exactly a year ago this weekend...4th of july. Luckily I was able to rig it to work for the fireworks. There are a few places that make led light bulbs that can replace the incandesent.

Just depends on the "crew" on board. When it's all of my "surfer" friends, we fill the v-drive sacs on both sides and then I have 2 other 250lb sacs and I fill those up and put one on top of the v-drive sac and then the other on the seat or floor and then position the people. When I'm with my wife and her friends, it's basically fill up one v-drive sac (sometimes add another on the top) and then move people around. We are running 10.8 mph taps at 5/6 most of the time now. Sometimes I bump it up to 11.6 or so and bring the taps down to get a little bit longer pocket.

              Timmy,

I have the factory hard tanks in the rear. Those don't really seem to do the trick. How big are your v-drive sacks? What pump are you using to fill them?

The v-drive sacs are 450lbs each and I use a Tsunami pump to fill them. If most of your riders are on the same side, I would recommend getting the Enzo sac that someone has for sale on here for $200!

I'm a darksider, so I need sacks that I can move around if needed. Do you use the FlyHighs?
