    Shred Stixx

Shred Stixx launched their new website yesterday and I gotta say, it looks siiiick!

    Check it out: http://www.shredstixx.com

I am in the process of ordering the new Shred Stixx Comp 1. Quad fin, dove tail, grab rails.. board looks very cool. Can't wait to ride it.

Anyone on here ridden the new Comp 1?

I had the chance to demo a lot of boards lately... we started a learn to wakesurf program recently, so we got some demo boards shipped to us.

We rode the Shred Stixx Pirana... okay but seemed a little slower. The comp, according to the rep, requires even more effort to keep up with the pocket. The Shred Stixx boards could be fun but seems to really depend on the size and shape of your wake.

We purchased an Inland Surfer... Blue Lake quad. Okay as well, fast and light.

We also just got in some Crowley wakesurfers (more skim style). We purchased the HeyO, super super fun, very fast, very light and easy to catch air, spin and attempt shuv's. We also test rode one of their wood models, Peg Leg. This board for the price is insane. Not as floaty, but so much fun for the price it's ridiculous. Our local board shop owner came out and rode the Crowley board, went back to the shop and placed an order for the whole line up!

We also tested Liquid Force, CWB and Hyperlite... but compared to Shred Stixx, Inland Surfer, Crowley, they just couldn't come close.
