    Lake Houston

    Hey all,
This is my first time posting on TigeOwners. My buddy "austinsouthside" really recomended me getting on this site since I just bought a new 08 Z1 from Texas Tige here in Houston/Conroe. I am a first time boat owner and I took the boat out for its first voyage yesterday on Lake Houston. I knew there were sand barges all over the place so we just took it easy. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do or where I should go. Thanks for the help.

My suggestion is to take some nice photos of your new Z1 and post them up here! We love pictures.

Sorry, I'm no help regarding where to go near Houston.

      Go out to http://www.gcwa.com

It is the local wakeboard club. There are alot of members that live on Lake Houston and would gladly help you out.

See if there is a fishing map available for Lake Houston. That would show you the depth. It is tricky getting from the Lake to the Upper san Jac where the Kingwood ramp is located.
If its not fun, Why do it?

X2 on a good waterproof lake map, get to know the lake like the back of your hand.

Congrats and welcome, even if your are friends with Austinsouthside

Sharp looking Z1, Ke-von! We were looking at the similiarly equiped blue and white one at Texas Tige in early spring...and this black and white really caught my eye too, but wifey really liked the blue and white better. But, it really didnt matter in the end because I got shipped out of country for the summer to work on a project in Europe. I hope to have her still ready to buy when I return in Sept.

At any rate...Hope you enjoy her! Will probably touch base with you in the Fall when I return to get your impressions.
