WOOT! Pick up our Tige today!

Of course we are stoked! Our kids are getting older and my little fish-n-ski just wasn't cutting it for the watersports. We have been doing lessons for them for wakeboarding and the like and it was time to get something to accommodate us all. I wasn't fishing on the BASS tournament trail or anything, but I DID HATE to see my fishing boat go. We have been looking and demo'ing different boats for the last 3 months. This is what we decided on. Just when I had the outboards down, I see I have a ton to learn about maintining my new rig. This site and it's members are awesome.

I have a pic we stole off the dealership website, so it will have to suffice until I can roll my own. It's an '04 22V. Not as nice as some of the rides on this site, but we are stoked none-the-less. I just setup this photobucket thing, so if this link/pic doesn't work I may need some pointers.

Nice ride, I have the same one in blue. Did you get that from Ski Dock in Austin? Reason I ask, I was just perusing the boats on their website and I thought I saw it there. Or it's twin.

That's the one at the skidock yes. They just called and said it is going through make ready now and will be done in an hour or so!

Thanks for the enthusiasm! I don't know who is more excited, me, the wife, or the kids! I typically won't bother anyone on the lake we don't know, so if you see us feel free to stop by and say HI. Or probably more likely, tell us what we are doing wrong! LMAO

That's awesome! The guys at the Ski Dock are great. What lake do you normally go to?

You'll see me out on Lake Austin and Lake Buchanan. BTW, be careful if you go to Travis or Buchanan...lake levels are low and you have a lot of expensive underwater gear.

Thanks for the heads up. From my house I can be at Bastrop, G-town, LA/Travis in under an hour, and Buchanan in about 1.5 hrs. There is not much traffic at Bastrop, and I know that lake like the back of my hand from fishing it so many years. Georgetown is the closest and we go there when water levels are better than they are now. I was on G-town last Sunday showing my boat that I sold and it is like 18ft low.

We really like the guys at the ski dock. We actually went there in our initial search to look at everything. I won't name any names, but we decided on a different brand, but when we went back to buy, the staff was so rude I decided then I would take my business elsewhere. It was a blessing to see how they treat customers BEFORE I gave them my money!

Now to finish my work so I can go play all weekend. Happy Fathers Day to all the other Dad's out there.

Let's see...might their name also have the word Ski in it?

I tried to buy a boat from them twice (2 boats in successive years) and I couldn't get anyone to talk to me. That's how I ended up with a Tige...never regretted it.
