    Business Week Article

    Funny quotes from Business Week:

"Scott Byerly decided he didn't need bindings on his wakeboard anymore, and wakeskating was born."

"Aaron Reed, the current world champion, is known for his "wake-to-wake" move in which he jumps not one but two wakes."

I doubt it...that is impossible on those wakeboards without bindings.

Not on a wakeskate. We have a local pro here, Oury Yarbrough who's spectacular. It's amazing what this guy can do wake-to-wake. One of these days he's gonna go inverted and land it

Super nice guy. I ended up meeting him because we rescued he and his buddy one evening on Lake Austin after they ran out of gas. I towed him back to his dock and when he offered me money, I just told him to not worry about it...pay it forward. The next day he was at a local competition where my oldest was competing in wakeskating. He came up and introduced himself and thanked me again. Then he asked if my oldest wanted to come hang with the rest of his wakeskating buddies. We had no idea who he was until he started riding. We still see him every once in a while.
