If you're looking for a super comfortable ride, you're in the wrong class of boats. NO ski boat from any manufacturer is gong to ride like a 24' Cobalt in rough water. That said, my Tige rides every bit as good or better than my buddies 21' Rinker runabout or my neighbor's 19' Donzi. I feel like my 20V does a pretty darn good job in rough water for a ski boat....but I'm a bit biased.

I'd stay away from the Gekkos. Moomba and Supra have loyal followings. The Supra will be much nicer fit and finish but the Moomba is a solid boat for less money that will probably work well for you if you're not insistant on first-rate quality materials. The newer ones are getting much better than the older ones were.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

anyone witha 21i comment on the handling of this boat in rough waters??
The 21i is a great boat and can handle rough waters if you drive it right. I usually avoid the lake if it's too rough, but have had my 21v out in 4'+ seas and lived to tell about it. Our lake gets real rough at times and I'm confident I can drive my boat on it in just about any conditions in a pinch.

As with any tow boat, the bows tend to dip lower than other boats, so you'll need to learn what to do (give it enough power to keep the bow from submerging).

If the boat's in good condition, the price might be right. Inboards hold their value better than other boats.
