Lake Mojave

Was checking out the local conditions at Lake Mojave (leaving Thursday night for a four day trip) and heard about a new virus in the water that's been killing carp. Has anyone been to Katherine's Landing in the last few weeks?

G-Money was there this weekend, you should hit him up about it. We stay away from the lake and only go on the river around and below Needles.

I had some family camping around the 28 mile marker of Mohave this weekend. They launched from Cottonwood Cove & didnt say anything about any virus.

I just herd that Fish and Game was undergoing an investigation as to what's going on.

Some are speculating it has something to do with treatment of the water; kill off the mussel.

They were slutty fish and they died from the herp. Let this be a lesson to all you unsafe people out there. Use protection when you are on the lake!!
