Adjusting the gauge timers is a simple function in the Tige Touch. Tige uses live-well style aerator pumps, so there's no harm to have them continue to run, unlike a reversible impeller pump. Also, Tige configures their ballast systems to over flow through the vent line when full. This gives you an audible and visual indication that the ballast tank/sac is full.

Wow, this thread is a blast from the past.

Note our RZ2 is a 2009 -- there is no Tige Touch and no timers. I run my pumps until I hear the vent overflow. I do not recall what brand the pumps are but I ordered through Chpthrl ... so whatever he says

While this is up, a few pics ...

      Storm rolling in ...

      Surf lean ...

      Jackson getting some sun ...

I didnt answer cause I thought he was asking about extra bilge pumps you had added, not ballast,

Neros, The pumps used are the Rule 1100 GPH.

Haha! My 3600 gpm bilge capacity. Overkill, yes. But peace of mind. I have the auto feature tested every off season. The three bilge pumps are Mayfair cartridge pumps 1250GPH model 42122. Two were installed in the rear corners for surf lean and the third was swapped for the (inadequate) stock bilge pump. Never needed them (yet ).
