How do you like the Wet Sounds MB-8's with the Pro 60's? I was thinking of swapping a pair of my 60's out for the MB-8's also! And also adding the 420, you got any pics of how yours in installed? I've got 2 pair of the 60's in my RZ2 and they get kinda harsh sounding on heavy rock music! I stuffed the pods a little with polyfill and got a little more mid out of it. But think I'm still lacking that Full sound that I'm used too!
Thanks,
Rick D.

I would not do without the WS420EQ. The ability to change relative volume in the cabin and on the tower is very nice. You can also independently change the tone for just the tower (I backed off highs). And the setup is plenty loud enough for me. I will snap a pic of the install. It is on the right under the dash. Would be nice if an in-dash install was possible but we did not find any suitable positions.
Definitely have a conversation with anyone at Wetsounds--they will give you great advice. WS is one of the most customer oriented businesses I have dealt with.

Thank you everyone for the encouraging words. The one thing this boat gets is stares -- whenever we cruise into a crowded cove, you can see heads turning to check out the kook with the bright green boat.
Really rough in the channel Saturday -- the RZ2 handles better than I ever would have expected in chop (and I had high expectations).
Unfortunately, last weekend, I smacked my open board rack on the upright entering our (very narrow) slip . End of a long day and I was thinking about getting the boat lined up in the slip, not the racks. Was a shame because that was the first near perfect entry (my previous attempts were comical when adjusting to how an inboard moves).
The slow impact took a chunk out of my Slingshot board and put a wobble in the bracket that mounts the rack to the tower. I removed the single hex bolt holding the bracket and the aluminum threads in the tower were a mess. I slowly re-tapped the hole with the steel bolt, removed, applied some locktite, and re-attached the bracket. It felt nice and solid -- Until the next time out in the channel when it took a pounding after which it was a little loose. I will be taking to the dealer for a better fix.
Of course, I am open to any advice on potential fixes. I would guess the solution will be a helicoil.
It is a GREAT feeling when you go out and screw up your brand new boat . Ok, actually, it really sucked. Will never forget the racks again I suspect!

So, within the first 60 seconds of our first day, I had managed to ding the prop (not too badly, but still ). The kids were also exposed to some rather colorful language coming from my mouth. Nothing like having to get something fixed due to my stupidity right from the beginning. At least I learned a lot and now always pay attention to all the conditions, from the launch angle of the trailer to the wind. Oh well, chit happens...unfortunately.
