    Extending Heater Hose?

Have 24ve with 2 port Heater. One fixed outlet near cap'n chair, other in walkway with 6' flex hose. Looking for a way to extend that hose so it reaches farther to back seat. Emailed heatercraft mfg and they say only 6' fits in the retractable area.

Has anyone rigged up an extension hose to get the heat farther back? OR rigged up a second hose from the oher heater outlet? I understand it wouldn't retract, but looking for ideas how to easily attach 2nd hose so I can get more heat distrubuted. Don't want to tape it...

We take boat to Okoboji Iowa and nights are awesome and sometimes chilly. Best memory last summer was watching my mother in law cradle the hose like a new grandbaby.

    Open for thoughts/suggestions.

You could probably tape on the extension piece or use a piece of PVC or something to join the 2 together along with some zip ties or wire. I was thinking about this on Saturday when I had a bunch of cold people on the boat (cloudy and sprinkling) and the heater hose needs to be about 2' longer.

Cant say I have any personal experience with this hose extender, as it "Aint my bag, Baby"

J/K. Buy some hose by the foot and replace the existing piece with the longer hose.
