A good day on the water with the 22iR & Pix:

    Yesterday:
82 deg F into the evening, nice conditions. We spent most the day on the water 'till closing.
    Went out with Chester Cheetah.
First shake down cruise of the season,, and what a teriffic day for it.

Backed the truck out of the garage,, a flat with a huge screw in the tire,, so down to get that fixed.
Then on the water a tiny cooling system hose leak and the bilge filled fast,, we tightened the hose, with scalding engine water spraying, and were good to go. Eazy fix.
Bildge pump got a deluxe workout.
My daughter fixed lunch for everyone, Chester Cheetah Supplied the beverages.
A few other boats we hooked up with:

Got off the water at 4:15, headed to Chuys and hooked up with a few we met on the water for a warm evening on Chuys patio with dinner and a few pitchers of 5 star Margaritas. We're flirtin' with summer.

Name the make of the boat^^^ Hint, a past Catalina water ski race champ

What a great beginning for you guys. Unfortunatley, with the elevation of Roosevelt Lake up almost 100 feet and approaching full capacity, the lake is so full of debri that it will probably be another month or so before we can put in. Enjoy it for us for now. We do however, spend plenty of time at the local Chuys. Martin

          Been there.
I have the LA County pass, we go to Frank Bonelli park on week days and Castaic on weekends.
Never seen the water that high. Has the water gone over the little island ?

We wont take the boat until April, you might see us there I have a red and white Tige with two red Bimini tops.

          Thanks for the feed back

If you mean Nipple island it's almost covered it.
Castaics water will warm in JUne, though it's a no body contact lake.

Levels expected to be high all summer.
It will fluctuate a few feet because it tranfers water up to Pyramid and back down again.
Perhaps less going up this year because of the awsum sno pak in the sierras so Castaics level should remain up.

The PWC's an Pyramid are too unerveing for us- having kids in the water and all.
