What do yall think will be the most wieght i can put in the back with having 350-400 pounds in the bow and still gettin a nice wake?Im askin this because we are building a box for the sack to sit in,in the back, and with the wood we are using it will probably weigh a good 100 150 lbs alone

Put as much in the nose as possible, you will not regret it. Last year I had 1200 in the nose, and 800 in the rear for the best wake in a 22v.

Did that much weight in the nose make the wake less vert? Did you have people in the back with that weight combo?

If anything it helped it be more steep. We would usually have people in the boat, and we would mix them up. 4 in the rear, two up front etc. But, it made a huge difference in making the wake more solid to have more weight in the front. In my 24 I have about 1200 in the rear and 1200 in the nose now. If I put more than 5 people in the boat, I have to empty the rear sacks some since most people sit in the back of the boat.

Go nose heavy, you will not regret it.

I have a DD not a V drive. With the hull (sp?) shape it has i think i would need to load the rear down to compensate for it, but this is my first boat to ever weight down so i dont know. I know i have to take a day just to adjust it and get the wake i want, but im just asking for some tips.

              thanks,

                spanky I have an 03 20i.
-i have 350's on each side of the engine and a 600 in the nose. then try to even out the boat passenger weight.
-i turn my taps all the way down. It gives a real good wake for a 20'.
just start moving the weight around and you will find what works best for you.
