    Going out on a three hour tour

    Taking the 23V for the first time this year. Yes I know, what is my problem? How come it has taken me so long to get it out. Well the wife is taking Micro Biology this year and I've been working OT. Not a great excuse but it will do. Anyways, we will be out at Castaic, Ca. next to Magic Mountain if anyone would like to join us. Will be leaving really early Monday (Memorial Day) to get a jump start on the trafic. Give me a call if you will be up there and maybe we can hook up back in the shallows for lunch or something. God Bless, James 949-374-4363

      oh man, castaic on a weekend? Much less memorial weekend? Go with god my son. There is a reason I moved out of southern california. I learned to drive a boat, pulling my dad skiing through that lake on weekends when I was 12. Like a frickin obstacle course.

          Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip That started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny Tige 2002 23V.

          The mate was a mighty sailin' man, Radjack brave and sure, Five passengers set sail that day for a three hour tour. A three hour tour.

          The weather started getting rough, the tiny Tige 2002 23V was tossed.

          If not for the courage of the fearless RadackJ, the Tige 2002 23V would be lost. The Tige 2002 23V would be lost.

          The Tige 2002 23V set ground on the shore of this uncharted Castaic Lake With Gilligan, the Radjack too, a Millionaire and his wife, A movie star, the Professor and Mary Ann, here on Castaic Lake.

          So this is the tale of our castways, they're here for a Memorial Weekend, they'll have to make the best of things, it's an uphill climb.

          The first mate and his Skipper too, will do their very best, to make the others comfortable, on Castaic Lake.

          No phone, no light no motor car, not a single luxury, like Robinson Crusoe, it's primative as can be.

          So join us here each week my freinds, you're sure to get a smile, from seven stranded castways, here on "Castaic Lake."

                  Thanks for the Gilligan’s isle song; it’s one of my ole favorites to watch and listen to the tune. Anyway, it was quite chilly in the morning. Air temp 61, water temp 72. The good news not that many people were out, even in the afternoon when it got warmer, however the wind did pick up some and made wake boarding and skiing no joy. Thank God for the tube and wake surf board. We ended up going back into the cove around 10:30 am as I could no longer feel my finger tips. I thought maybe I had pinched a nerve until the sun came out and I thawed out (smile) Overall real nice day at Castaic, I would like to try Lake Pyramid or Piru my next outing. Anyone have experiences at either of those lakes?

                      piru is a small lake. I prefer there on a weekday. I've had smooth water till the early afternoon.Pyramid is alot bigger but more people go there pretty nice. Not as much wind as Castaic
