    Big OOOPS Update-BoatUS Insurance

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First off, Thank You everyone for the good thoughts!
BoatUS Insurance is the Stuff!!! Incident happened Sunday afternoon---called the 800# that night and got a claim #, took the boat to Matt Monday night. The claim was approved yesterday(Weds) afternoon. I left a message for my adjuster(thanks Lindsay) this morning and recieved a call back within 15 minutes
Now if my Tige' dealer can get her fixed up in a timely manor this will be behind me in no time!!

Evil------I may just take you up on your offer

Thanks again and have fun -- I will keep you posted on The Boat Shop's efforts.

Thanks for the feedback on BoatsUS as your insurance. StateFarm is dropping all of my cars when each policy expires which made me shop for new Auto Insurance and Boat insurance because I was not going to leave any insurance with StateFarm once I moved my cars.

Because of medications I was on I was involved in 4 fender benders from 06 to 08. When my employment status changed we informed them because my annual mileage dropped by 2/3. So next thing we know after at least 22 years with SF Homeowners and auto I was hot potatoe. In the end, them forcing me to look saves me a lot of money on Auto and Homeowners with better policies where auto coverage dropped in cost significantly and house went up $100. Boat US with much better coverage is almost $300 less so when I get everything converted, I am sending State Farm a letter of appreciation. They bought me a Shiny new Eazor tower, made me review my current coverages and helped me save at least $900 in annual coverage for 3 cars 1 House and a Tige.

My only wild card was BoatUS and for the savings I am going with them. In all my years of boating I had 1 claim so my risk with BoatUS is minimal.

              BoatUS Insurance update

It has been just over a week and I recieved my check from BoatUS today.
Major props(pun intended) that their on top of things.
Thanks again BoatUS Insurance Company and Lindsay. I highly recomend all Tige' owners shop them and see if a few dollars can be saved and hopefully no-one needs their services but if you do the customer service is top notch

Ok Matt, now its your turn to show your profesionalism!!! So far so good!

Seems fairly typical with State Farm. I recently got better coverage for half the price elsewhere on my auto.

Like others my auto insurance was just a bill and we became complacent and did not shop around for coverage. As I said before they did me any other members of the clan a great favor.

All of us are saving significant savings over what we had. We always had great service but when your high risk premium drops from $1200 every 6 months too $365 every 6 months I do not care that my homeowners policy goes up by $100 a year. Same thing with Boat. I increased coverage and pay 1/2 of what I used to.
