I'm sure this has been discussed, but I did a search and couldn't seem to find anything. Would it be possible with a forward scoop intake under the hull and an electric gate valve to fill hard tanks while driving. have an overflow/airvent out the top of the tank and an elec. valve out bottom of tank to drain out of transom while driving. what do you ballast guru's think, sounds simple enough. thanks for any input.

Oh man, I was just reading a thread on WW the other day about a custom system with the same concept. It had a forward facing to fill, and then a rear facing scoop, I think, to drain. I can find the thread right now, but I'll look some more.

I'm a family guy with teenagers, none of them extreme trick kids, just wtw, 180's some 360's. I am getting into the surfing. thanks for the help!

For boarding: a pair of 400# V-drive sacs (F/H W701) in the rear, and the Integrated Bow sac (W711) in the bow makes for a pretty good wake. Another 400# sac in the walkway REALLY perks it up.
For surfing, one 400# and peeps is not to bad for a decent wake, but 800#'s plus and peeps is sweet. We (a few TO's) designed a 1k custom surf sac for the 22Ve/RZ2 and I have one on order. If you only surf on one side, I would recommend that plus a set of V-drives. Put one in the non-surf side for boarding and the other in the walkway.
You will need to design the system so you can control the filling to each sac independently, as the boat surfs the best with only weight in the rear on the surf side
Let me know if you want more info on those sacs.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
