Well depending on where you put the lead makes a difference on trailer/tongue weight. If you are putting the weight in the middle of the boat it wont matter about the weight on the trailer axles since they are plenty strong for the boat+ more especially with a Tandemn under a lighter 20V. The problem would be with the tow vehicle if it would be too much for it to handle.

I am lucky since I have a ramp at my house and just pull the boat in and out no more then 200 Yards each time, but I understand exactly where your coming from Mike.

Well I tow with a 2003 Dodge diesel, so the tow weight isn't really an issue with the 20V.

This might have been discussed before, but how much weight do we think is required in the bow for my 20V? If I fill the v-drive sacs 1/2 to say 200# each how much weight do I need in the bow?

Measure it out, draw it up and I'll get a quote for you! I'd like to see what the bow of a 20 will hold. I'm feeli'n only about 250 though.

I will draw one up in the next couple of days. Can we use the area behind seat/speaker as well?

There is not a lot of room up behind the seatbacks in the bow, so I think the complexity of the sac, and cost, would out weigh the added weight. May be better to stick with a shrunk down version of the integrated bow sac.

just finished measuring, quite the chore removing seat backs & bolted in seat bottoms ( few fiberglass splinters later), going to draw it out tomorrow (wont be a good drawing), looks like more cubic room behind seats than under seats but yes a complicated sac

                      Mike,
Did you ever do this? I have an 07 20v. Not sure if the bow is the same
