It might actually work for me since I have 1" intakes. I'll still keep my manual shut-off but this would prevent any leakage. I'd have to figure out how to wire it so it's open both when filling and emptying.

That would be an interesting challenge with the reversibles, it's easy with the aerators. A separate switch for the valve would be the easiest, but then its one more switch on the dash to opperate
