Ballast empties while riding- LEE HELP

I am pretty sure my ballast system is syphoning the water out or leaking back through the fill line. The system has been in the boat for several years and working fine, but last weekend the port bag kept emptying out and appears to be going out the fill line. Could the check valve gone bad? Also, it looks like my vent line was crimped, so it was actually pushing the excess out the drain instead of the overflow (it is t'd into the fill line). could the overflow being crimped cause the check valvel to jam?

Lee, do you remember where the check valve is in this boat? Do I have to pull up the section under the seats to get to the vavler?

Yes, the valve could have lost it resistance and allow water to flow. Yes on the section under the seats.

Did you look under the boat at the pumps and see if anything look different?

Ray mentioned in his post about bad eyes, I have a bad brain as I cannot remember everything that was done to that boat in 2001. Sorry.

Thanks Lee, I will check those this weekend. I just did not want to pull the section under the seats if not needed, but I can get into them this weekend, Kinda nice the boat has been trouble free enough I have never had to look at anything under the seats!!!
