I put in a ball valve that is accessable thru an access plate under one of the small cushions on the rear seat and we always leave the valve open and the bags remain full or empty as the case may be. I suppose this is beacuse of the check valves installed. So, I have a valve that is always open.

      Answering a couple of questions

The bow drain pumps just lay in the floor of the bow storage. The seem to stay in place when the sac is installed.

I'm also having a hard time picturing where all your holes are at. Do you have any pictures of the outside showing where all the thru hull holes are, (the drains and the scoop).
The front drain/vent thru-hulls are located a couple of inches below the rubrail and located in the console storage area V's drilling in behind the bow seat backs. This gives you access to drill, install the thru-hull and attach hose. Pic 6 & 7 in post 26 shows the 2 bow drain thru-hulls.

The drain/vent thru-hull for the rear sacs are located behind the rear storage bulkhead wall. The stbd side is located next to the bilge thru-hull and the post is located in the same spot on the port side. Pic 9 in post 26 was taken from the battery access door.

The thru-hull pickup was the hardest to locate. I picked a spot opposite the speedo (dont locate in front of, but behind is ok) and where I could drill and mount the mushroom and not be in the way of a bunk but having clearance to attach all the hose and elbows to. Pic 8 in post 1 shows it from the inside. its on the front/port side of the V-drive right in the "L" of the fuel tank. Sorry, no pics from the underside.

Ideally would you want a brass ball valve to close at every hole that penetrates the boat, intake and outakes.
A brass shut-off on the pickup is a must. When I did mine, I didnt find what I wanted as afar as how I wanted to configure the shut-off, but I hope to redo this spring if things permit. I was comfortable doing my boat with out a shutoff, but would never recommend to any to do the same, there NEEDS to be a shutoff. The problem with the location I chose is, that you cant reach a valve once the seat box and floor are reinstalled. I'm trying to come up with a way to pull the lever remotely.

If I were to do again, I think I would look to locate the thru-hull pickup on the stbd side behind the speedo and have a straight line into the manifold. Here is a pic of what I will use for the reconfigure.

Thanks for your help. This is definitely a step up from the stereo project. I noticed your fat sacs are black mine are grey is there a difference in material? One more question, it looks like you rhino sprayed the inside of the bow storage. Did you pull the carpet and do that? If so , how? Thanks, Micah

For the bow, yes, it's brush-on bed-liner from a 1qt can. I pulled the carpet, cleaned most of the carpet fuzz and glue (not much cause it's not meant to be cosmetic) and then brushed on the liner. Check out the end off this thread: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7940

I found this comment from and old post from a few years ago. I am kind of thinking I might have a partition in my bow??? Does anyone know if there is a parition in a 2006 24V under bow seats? I wanted to order my ballast supplies but my boat is at the lake.

          Mike.. can you help?

Some times I need to add some 4200 around the rim.

No partition between the port and starboard bow storage, but there may be a bulkhead wall separating the bow storage form the mid-ship storage.

Thanks Mike, I had a brain fart and just couldn't recall. There definitely is the one parition at the helm storage areas. For some reason I was thinking there might have been a partition under where the front lift up cushions meet the triangle type cushion.

From ballast to Stereo.......Mike the Kicker equipment I picked up from you sounds excellent. I think all I need is some fine tuning on the dials and it will be perfect. I better read up on which dial is for which! Thanks for the help!!
