I am actually going to try and put a system together for my boat next weekend sometime and really like how you set everything up. Do you have any good suggestions on where to get the pumps and bags. I was thinking I might get the pumps and the switches seperate to save a little money but have been unable to find them on the web recently.

Thanks for the help alreay as the blog was very helpful.

Also any other helpful information you might want to pass along?

He got the system from SPBFAN, send him a pm and he will get you set up.

He has now hooked up a few of us with his ballast system.
Do a surch for g-moneys ballast system. I was the first to put one of his systems in.

Ditto get the pumps, bags and though hulls from SPBFAN. I have extra Flex PVC hose if you want to buy it from me (the white hose) and I can give you the web site to get the Multiflex for about $1.28 a ft shipped! The rest of the stuff you can get at a good hardware store.

          Can you fill when riding?

Does the scoop in the reverse position stop you from being able to fill when underway?

For that reason I went with a mushroom. It might burn me someday if I suck up a piece of wood that blocks one of my pumps, but the water I am in is usually very much debris free. You could probably even suck up debris with the scoop as well if you work at it.

I went with Coach to water test the system we were able to fill with the boat in gear without any problems. I can do the same with my system. I haven't tried to fill going any faster yet.

Coach, The install looks awesome and very clean. Good Job.

I can also fill my ballast while riding.
