I have the stock ballast--4 250's in each corner. I want to get a little more out of the wake and the boat tends to porpoise a little sometimes when driving 22.3 with taps at 3 or 4. Where would you guys suggest putting it? In the walkway, in front of the back seat or running from the back seat towards the bow, maybe? and what would these do to the porpoising. Would putting it in the back settle the back down more and settle the imbalance where the rear isn't sitting in the water well enough? Also, I am waiting for some line extensions in the mail as my rope is a little short and I could ride a little faster as well to help with the porpoising.

Porpoising is almost always caused by not enough weight in the front. It's especially pronounced on a Tige Convex V hull. I'd move my passengers further forward and see how it works. You'll also get a cleaner wake that way. It's ok to use TAPS at other settings even when wakeboarding. It's an adjustment, not a setting. Use it to adjust the wake.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."
