I know this is kind of a redundant question, but what are you RZ4 owners all using for ballast for a surf wake. Someone tole me to go full port rear tank, 1/2 full starboard rear tank and 1/3 full starboard front tank but idk it i should go with that, it sounds kinda wierd.

Here is what we do.
All factory tanks full. Front (450) and both rear hard tanks (225 each side)
700 pound under passenger side seat.
750 on top of side seat.
750 across rear seat.
3100 in ballast. Plus people. I also have 150 pounds of batteries in each rear locker. Plus all the stereo gear.
We can get it well over waist high and pretty long. We have not been able to get it super long.
We found that the RZ4 likes weight in the rear. And decent lean. A ton of lean does not help.
So try putting weight on you surf side and then add weight on the non surf side as well.
60/40 spilt. To a 70/30 to a 80/20. It may take some playing around with.

PS: I also have a modded platform that has 4 inches cut off the sides and it tapered in. It is the prototype to the new 09 platforms.

I dont have to post pics anymore!!!! They are already up. Tige wanted me to wait until the 09's came out as mine was a prototype and they wanted to make sure it was all good. So that is why I never posted any pics.

The RZ's ion those pics have the new platform.
The yellow and black one you can see pretty good. Still has RZ style shape but does't go all the way out to the sides now. It also tapers in, hard to tell from the pic.
I will have to check with Tige to see what the final production dimensions are now.
