My Tsunami pump (the handheld kind) must have a loose wire, we have to giggle the wire to get it to run. I took it apart last night and all I could get off was the housing over the base of it. I cannot figure out how to get into the top so I can check on the wires and re terminte/fix them. Anyone ever figure this out? Also I am looking at the same pump (I think) for an installed system and it looks like I buy that for $25 and just cut the accessory plug off my existing pump and put the handlheld hoses on this new pump. A new handheld pump is $99!
here is what I have now...

and here is the pump I am thinking I can use in place of this one with a little elbow grease.

of course I have to look closer at my pump to see if I can get the connectors and hose off of it without screwing it up. Anyone have any experience in this area?
