Fat Sack Placement for wakesurfing?

I have a 1999 21v --No ballast system--currently using about 500/600lbs to make wake but it doesn't seem to put out a very good wake--Too light? --

How much are you putting in the bow and aft of the boat? Should be about 40% up from and 70% in back.

I'm usually running about 700-900 lbs in the rear locker on the side we're surfing plus people. You do want a little weight in the ski locker.

Ihave been only putting the weight in the back on the rider side--the passenger side only--none up front

You really need to put some in front since that will help create a longer wake surface for you.

I don't have any pictures yet--our season doesn'start until about memorial day--we go to Lake Almanor, CA> and it is a mountain lake--too cold in winter.
How much weight do you put upfront and in the back?

Mine is going to be totally different than yours. However, I put 1000 lbs in the back and 400 lbs in the front with everyone sitting on the side where surfer will be.

I have been reading other posts that are saying 1000lb or more--must be a good amount for most Tige boats--Thanks for the helpful info.
Do you have any issues with the exhaust fumes?

You will smell them but for my boat, it's not that big of an issue since we don't do it all the time... It's once in awhile that we do.....

You can't smell carbon monoxide, just make sure you don't do it for too long at a time and you shouldn't have any problems.

Ops, I was referring to the exhaust smell and that would be where the majority of the carbon monoxide is.
