Unfortunately Tige missed the mark with the 20V hull. It responds to weight ok, but you can load the thing up and the wake doesn't grow like it does on a 22v, 22ve, or the 24ve. I've ridden behind all of them and the 22's and 24's just respond to the weight better. Don't get me wrong, I am not good enough to need a big wake really, but I always like to see what a boat can produce. The 20v needs a redesign, and a good integrated ballast system.

Sorry not much help.Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

I'm gonna weigh in on this one. I love a good wake, but I find it hard to believe that you can't get a more than adequate wake out of a 20V, unless you are a pro. I've ridden on a variety of wakes, and I hate a really small wake. That being said, I actually think I have more fun on a medium sized wake than a giant one. I also think shape is an issue. I'm a lot more aggressive on a medium sized one. Yeah, I can land a backroll with half the cut on a giant wake, but I can still land it on the other. I' will admit that the big wake does give you a little more margin for error, but I think this is negated by the additional speed and pain that comes with the giant wake on crashes. Now, the bigger wake will make more technical tricks possible/easier, but unless you are throwing those (I'm not), you should be just fine on the 20V. Both your head and your wallet will thank you if you don't needlessly overweight it. Caveat, I'm not saying don't weight it; I love ballast. I'm just saying don't write your boat off as inadequate
