    Drain port placement?

With the way the 22i seating is laid out I would like to place the drain port and drain pump under the side seat in front of the rear storage compartments. The space under that seat is just wasted anyway, why not put a pump there?

My question is, is it ok to have the drain forward and not all the way to the rear?

The thru-hull may kinda look out of place, but I see no reason not to put it where ever you want.

I was still going to put the thru-hull in the rear to look more normal.

I am just thinking I may not get all the water out of the bag with the way the boat sits in the water.

Oh, I gattcha, you mean the placement of the bag and pump, right?

If the pump is at the "front" of the bag, as in towards the bow, you may find a little water left behind.
