    Thru hull size?

If I am going to be using the t800's for draining, do I use 3/4" hose to a 3/4' thru-hull?
I'm on a boat man. I got my flippy floppies....

Yes, the thru-hull should be sold as the size of the barbed fitting, but the actual hole you drill will be around 1-1/4.

If you haven't bought your hose yet, consider using 1". It will slide over the threaded end of the T800 so no need for a 3/4 threaded fitting on the end of the pump. The you would use a 1" thru-hull.

I have not bought anything yet but I am ready to. And my plan is to use the t800 for draining.

So I get a 1" thru hull and 1" hose and I should be set?

Where is a good place to get hose?

I got mine from the same place a xpjim. They were the cheapest he found, and still the cheapest when I searched. I cant remember, and I'm out of town and have the ball-&-chain's computer so I dont have my spread sheet with me. I paid less then $1 p/ft for 3/4 shipped, but wish I had gone to 1" after I bought everything.

If xp dont chime in, I'll get it tomorrow for you.

I saw gemlux.com for the thru hulls.

I will research the thread for the hose supplier.

              Is it the multiflex?

I do not need 50 feet, maybe only 20, can I get it by the foot?

You can buy it by the foot from places like westmarine but you will pay 3 - 4 times more. I believe it was multiflex 141. I think I paid less than $1 per foot. West Marine was like 2.50 per foot.
                Let it be!!!

yeah, I went to westmarine this weekend and all they had was 3/4".

After doing some measuring, I may only need about 10'.
