    Sacs

I put my Straight Line "Launch Pad" bags away for the season. It proved to be a pain in the butt to get all of the water out. They have an internal bladder that must be there to add strength or keep the water from sloshing around. Is that why they are there?

Do the Fly High sacs have this internal bladder? What is everones opinion on Fly High vs. Launch Pad vs others? How long should sacs last?

    thanks

Just pick up some really, really phat girls!

No mess to clean when they leave
No ballast to store for the winter
    No stopping to fill/empty tanks
    They bring snacks
If you get chilly you can snuggle up to a roll
    and.....
They make great ballast that you don't even have to move manually!
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I have a couple Launch Pads in the back and I hate the way they drain. I have been told they drain better if you get all the air out when you fill them.
I also have a FlyHigh Itegated bow sak it drains real well.
If anyone has any suggestions on draining the Launch Pads, I would be a big help. It would save me from replacing them next year.

I think the launch pads come 2 ways, one with outer canvas or whatever, and one just the bladder. I have the fly highs, and don't really have that problem.

I had Fly Highs in my old boat. They were all single skinned, no covers. My current ride has integrated ballast...which is great!

However, the FLY Highs worked well. I believe someone mentioned getting all the air out of the bags prior to filling them....this really helps filling them up fully and draining them easily. If the pumps get an air bubble they tend to stall out when draining them. You'll need to turn the pump off and on or prime them again in order for them to drain out.

I usually spill some water in my boat. My old ride didn't have carpet so I didn't care. The new ride has carpet, so I'm trying not to rot my boat out with a lot of water being spilled around. (I'm taking the advice of getting a dehumidifier for my boat..when its being stored.) These Tige covers don't breath like the canvas tops do.

After a year of messing around with them, I decided to upgrade to a built in system. Its pure luxury now...living the glamorous life.

Any way..the Fly Highs were great. A nice rugged sac. The pumps fill the bags very quickly...just 2-3 minutes.

The Launch Pad has the ouside canvas cover and the bladder it self.
The bladder actually has an internal chaimber thingy that is suspended in the center third of the bladder. There are a couple 1" holes in the chaimber that, I assume, lets watter in and out of the chaimber. This is why the Launch pad is hard to get empty. I think the water get trapped in the internal chaimber. They probably add the chaimber for baffling of the watter and structural support of the outer bladder bag.

Do the Fly High sacs have the internal chaimber?

huh, I don't think so, my fly highs just have one chamber, but the outside material is EXTREMELY tough.

Nope, just a big open bladder. The have atleast 3 valves; fill, drain, vent.
