    Ballast for 20v

I want to get ballast for my 06 20v and think i am gonna start with just some bags and a portable pump. I was wondering what i should get and if it is hard to drain the bags if they are in the back lockers? And where did the rival website go or if there are any other good systems?

Fly High Pro X series sacs and a Tsunami pump (or two) will get you started. Are you wanting to use them for surfing or wakeboarding or both? Maybe try the v-drive sacs to start with (400 lbs each I believe). I got last years models that are 550lbs each and it made a huge difference. The Tsunami pump is so fast that it makes filling and draining pretty easy.

Also, if you get a discount with your dealer, try them first.

I don't know if I would go too far over 1200 lbs in a 20v. Was with tigeblue one weekend with 6 adults, 1 600 lbs sac, 22 mph, and TAPS between 4 & 8 (wake looked so much better with TAPS at 5). The wake looked very nice.

IMO, Timmy! is suggesting the correct sacs for your boat.

Contact anhaney, he might have some type of connection also

Just open the locker doors and attach the pump to the bags and then plug in the pumps.

anhaney also has pumps. The same one's that Timmy! suggested.

That is what Timmy! suggested.... Yes... Again, hit up anhaney with a pm and ask. I think he might be able to get a better deal for you along with 1 or 2 tsunami pumps...... Good luck...

Just remember, make sure you clean your wake up with TAPS. IMO, you don't need all that weight and then TAPS at 8. IMO, it will look better at 3-6.....

You'd be surprised how much weight you can pile in to a 20v. I'd get the Fly-High bow sac and the V-Drive sacs. You're going to want at least a 50/50 (recommend 60/40) front/back distribution. I'd pick up a portable 85 or 150 that you can move around or get some lead weights. Also, multiple pumps can mean the difference between 5 minutes vs. 20 to fill. I have several LaunchPad Link sacs, 2 Uber pumps and 1 Fly High Bow sac w/ Tsunami pump. We're loaded to bear in less than 8 min.

I would deff. say go with the Fly Hi sacs. If you are going to surf as well as board, try to get a combo that will give you the wake you need for both with minimal sacs. Once you got it dialed in, the plumbing is easy to finish up the install and you will have an automatic ballast system.

Anybody running the bow sac in a 20V? how much do you think it holds in a 20V?

The only one I know that runs a 20v is tigeblue. He only has one 600 lbs sac and puts it in front of the back seating area. We also has one person (125-200 lbs person) sit in the bow. He has a very nice wake when taps set to 5.

The quick release fittings come standard on the Tsunami pump and the Fly high sacs so if you stick with all of that you won't have to buy any additional connections.

One more thing, you will be amazed at just how fast the Tsunami pump is! Still in awe every time we hook it up!
