2nd one of the season... Some idiot decided to hold his boat agains the dock and I had to reverse because I wasn't coming in correctly. When I looked back I missed the guy by about 2 feet but hit the prop on my trailer. Only one blade was damaged.... But, better than repairing his boat. Stupid i/o boater....

Yeah, we measured my 06 w/o ballast and an 07 24Ve, 07RZ, 07 22Ve, all with ballast.................The storage/coolers on the 3 07's were 1/2" deeper then mine so that blows that theory out of the water.

                    CHp,

What do you mean 'flipping up'?

The rear of the front leafsprings and the front of the rear leafsprings are attached to a common pivit/counter lever.

Going over pumps can cause the front leafs to rotate the counter lever too far (see arrows in pic) and the front axle asm. will "flip" up with a lot of force and noise and leave the front tires off the ground about 3-4 in.

Never done this in a year and a half and has now done it 3 times in 4 days Dorcey is sending a set of longer shackles. they say this will prevent it.

I drove around an abandoned parking lot for 20 min hitting every bump with know success.

Went back to the dealers lot and CP3 and I tried bouncing up and down on it. Jacked it up and dropped it but would not flip down. Left it till the next morning and got one of the salesmen to show me where they put the jack when it happened to them. Lifted in the right spot and POW, she flipped right down.

I guess that is a hooray for torsion axles instead. Although I think that part of my braking problem is that my boat tends to bounce even when not braking because the torsion axles seem to be too springy. I was cruising up the 95 in Vegas and can see the boat bobbing up and down in rhythm with the freeway.

My boat is the boat at the dealer chpthril is talking about. It sucks because we ordered factory balast on our new 07 22ve, but our boat didn't come with factory balast. So the solution is currently to have Tige tear apart our rear storage compartments and retrofit them so that the factory tanks fit. I'm not real happy about them tearing apart my brand new boat, but I wanted factory balast. That's why I order factory balast. Anyway, we're having them do this on the off season. I'll let you know how it goes.
