I have a 24v that I have been fooling with the ballast on for a while now. I think the way I "want" to go is with the v sac that goes under the front seat area and deletes the anchor storage (I use the anchor maybe twice a year so I don't mind giving it up). I did my own ballast install similar to the rival system so all the vents and discharge ports are close enough (prior sacs were under driver consol and behind spotter seat back). My question is how much weight are people getting out of the v sac (I was running dual 350s in the other location, but could take less weight in the v to accomplish the same thing as the weight is further forward)? How are you guys filling and emptying them? Any tips suggestions anyone has on them? Thanks in advance!

I can tell you in a 24V the integrated bow sac holds about 500 to 550 pounds. No scientific proof but my 400# sac in the rear locker was racing the bow sac to empty. It took about 1 minute 20 seconds longer to empty the full bow sac from the full rear locker sac. This is my best estimate if the rear v-drive sac really holds 400# of waterLet it be!!!

Can't really help you much hear as i just installed the ballast system and all we did was starboard side surf. For surfing I am going to change out the 400# sac and put a custom surf sac to match the port side. Talltigeguy has a similar setup as mine and he should be able to answer your questions. We are ballast noobie.Let it be!!!

What do you do with the TAPS when you have 1100 in both the front and back? If the wake is that steep (which I am sure it is) then you should put the TAPS down some to make a little better ramp on it. If that doesn't work, then you need more of a 60/40 mix with 60% up front. That sounds a little wierd to most guys, but try letting 400 pounds out of the back sacks and that wake is going to be a giant ramp that will boot you.
What speed do you go? It seems to be steeper at slower speeds. With a wake that size, you may need to go 23MPH or so to really like it.Be excellent to one another.

TallTige, we were running the taps at 2 or 1, and I was riding at 23 to 23.5. Sadly we had gone back to riding without ballast as it was more fun (and easier on older knees ). I would like a little more kick though so always looking for ideas. I mainly liked the idea of the V sac as it freed up those two compartments, granted it eliminated the anchor storage but I use the anchor maybe two times a year so no big loss. I was going to play with a little more of the 60/40 split this weekend but house work got in the way and only got to ride once
