      Thats why I still say and are past experiance with ballast systems has shown that if you make the pumps and outlets on the pumps and the hoses on the pumps as the high points the air will purge through the pumps and when you turn on the switch it will pump because the air will have escaped up the hose.

            The wakeboard boat I have now employs a inline check valve at the water inlet.
            works teriffic, keeps the pump primed.
