Hello, we have a 2017R21 and I was thinking the other day how I have never noticed the ballast emptying out of more than just one of the holes on the front or back of the boat. The rear has two and three holes and the the front has two. Is this related to the R21 sharing the hull of the Z1 or is something going on with our ballast pumps? Thank you all in advance!!

One of the holes is for the drain, the other is for the vent when that bag is full. The third hole on the stb rear is for the bilge pump. So you only get water out of one hole when draining normally. Sometimes you will see water coming out of both when the bags get very full because some water gets pushed thru the drain pump and out the line along with the vent line. -
You can put 1 inch boat boat drain plugs in to prevent from loosing waterComment
