2016 Z1 Starboard Bow ballast pump wont prime.

Anyone ever have any issues with this? I have replaced the Tsunami Power head/impeller, Checked all the hoses for kinks, Checked the through hull for blockage etc. Pump will not prime unless I pull the power head off, let water flood out of it, turn it on and off multiple times and or shake the fill hose around and eventually it primes. Once it does prime its good for the remainder of the day. Its embarrassing when you have people on the boat that you have to do this to fill the front bag. Getting frustrated.

Its usually do to the orientation of pump body and outlet. The body needs to have level to upward angle from the inlet to the outlet and outlet needs to be up. This is needed to allow the air thats present in the system when you splash the boat, to escape through the outlet. Wrong orientation and the air is trapped, pump will not prime.
