    2005 24V Ballast recommendation

Hi all, I have a 2005 24V and I need to install ballast. Anyone have any ideas on what to use and install tips. Need a much bigger wake for surfing. Thanks!

Are you listing or using a surf apparatus?

Listed wave = Custom fly High 24V sac for rear locker(s) and Fly High W711 IBS for bow

Surf apparatus = Fly High W719 Jumbo Surf in each rear locker and W711 IBS for the bow.

Using a surf apparatus. Thanks for the reply. Do I need any other accessories? Would a mechanical moron need any help with installation?

If you can operate basic hand tools, then you can install a ballast system. We have tons of DIY'ers doing them. Plumbing kits was kind of the unstated, but no other accessories I can think of to turn the boat into a surf machine.

I just completed the ballast system install on my 2000 2100V. chpthril was a HUGE help and awesome to deal with during the installation process. He answered phone calls and text messages regardless of the day and time and was always very eager to help. There were no high tech skills needed besides the ability to think and take your time and not rush.

I have the same boat as you and ordered all my parts from Mike. I went with the W719s in the rear lockers because the couldn't sacrifice my under seat storage space. I used the IBS in the front. Here is a link to my install thread. You are in excellent hands with Mike but feel free to reach out to me with any questions as well.
